Sunday, August 23 was a farmer’s market at Lapsley Orchard.  Lapsley Orchard has a useful graphic at What’s Fresh showing what they are selling at the moment. Something I didn’t know was that Lapsley is more than an apple orchard.  They grow a long list of vegetables, as you will see at the above link.

Figure Skaters from Lisbon make it to the World ISI Recreational Championships in Chicago

The figure skaters are Jenna Banwell, Madison Minski, Jasmin Barrows, Lauren Griffin, Lily Haghpassand, Sage Muenzner and Sophia Rakoven.  They range in age from 9 to 16 years old. These high achieving skaters hail from the Borissova Skating Camps and Imperial Skating Academy, founded in 2012 in Lisbon by Yulia Borissova. Great job, girls!
