A big thank you to Pauline Millette for 23 years of volunteer work at Friends of Assisi Food Pantry in Danielson.  The pantry allows families in need to come for food once a month.  Pauline is often the first person people see when they come to visit.

She has done every job at the pantry but is especially noted for her listening skills.  She remembers the special needs of her clients, such as their medical or job challenges.

Showing people love, conversing with them, giving them hugs, and understanding what they’ve been through are important.  That’s what I love the most, says Pauline.

Pauline will be relocating to North Carolina to be closer to family in 2016.  She will be missed!
