Dr. Tieqiang Ding has purchased and reopened the Putnam Science Academy. Ding stated that he wants Putnam Science Academy to belong to the town of Putnam, to the community. He also said “I bought an elementary school for my daughters. Now I have a middle school and a high school. My daughters will come here next year.”
The school plans to offer a rigorous STEM and social sciences curriculum as well as a competitive basketball team.
